Giving Back to the FIRST Community

  • 2013 Beta Test team
    • Helped the FRC Control System team review the software libraries and build new code to share with all teams.
    • Approximately three percent of FRC teams were selected by FIRST to assist with this crucial testing.
    • Four teams who participate in Mid-Atlantic Robotics were selected in 2013.
    • The Iron Devils were humbled to be the only FRC team from the state of New Jersey to be selected in 2013.
  • Lenape Seneca FIRSTĀ Robotics District Competition
    • March 24-25, 2012 at Seneca High School in Tabernacle, NJ
      • South Jersey has produced a number of high quality FIRST teams but had never had the opportunity to showcase these teams locally. All that changed in 2012 when the Iron Devils were asked to host an inagural Mid-Atlantic Robotics competition. With the support of our school district and Seneca High School, the Iron Devils hosted the first FRC event in South Jersey in March of 2012. The event, nicknamed “Playing in the Pines” by the Iron Devils, hosted 38 teams from the tri-state area and provided the South Jersey community with the opportunity to see these teams in action.
    • March 23-24, 2013 at Seneca High School in Tabernacle, NJ
      • The Iron Devils are thrilled to announce that they will once again be hosting a FIRST Robotics Competition for the 2014 season. The competition is free and open to public.
